49th Ward & Ald. Joe Moore
Chris,
There's a lot of talk about supporting immigrants and refugees in Chicago, but what are our members of City Council doing to support immigrant and refugee workers?
Several alderman are wavering, silent, or on the wrong side, when it comes to wages and working conditions at O'Hare airport. We need them to stand with workers, not the airlines. Here's your opportunity to push them to step up.
Saturday March 25th, come out and join Chicago Jobs with Justice, our Workers' Rights Board, Alderman Scott Waguespack, Dr.s Peter Orris and Bill Barclay to hear directly from workers at O'Hare.
The working conditions at O'Hare are a threat to public health as well as the health and safety of the thousands of O'Hare airport workers. I've heard the stories, and they are harrowing. And remember, these are the very people making the nation's 3rd largest airport the economic powerhouse of our region.
Join us to pressure City Council to raise the standards at O'Hare.

In the meantime, below are the names and contact information for alderman who have not (yet) chosen to stand with workers. Give them a call. Let's fix that.
Thanks and In Solidarity,
Susan
