ADC and MPower Change: Day of Action Against Arab and Muslim Ban

American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee

Day of Action Against Arab and Muslim Ban

The revised executive order on the Arab and Muslim ban is expected next week.

Join ADC and MPower Change for a Day of Action: #NoMuslimBan #NoRevisedEO this Sunday, February 26th to continue to send the message that our communities and allies oppose and resist the original and revised Arab and Muslim bans.

Here’s how you can participate in the Day of Action:

- Organize a gathering at a place of worship, community center, or airport. If you’re already taking part in a community event this Sunday, include a discussion on why it is vital to oppose the Arab and Muslim ban (more information here). Share your event on the listserve and/or email Laura ([email protected]) with information about your event so she can add it to a running online list

- Join our twitter town hall between 3:00 PM EST and 5:00 PM EST on Sunday, February 26th and tell us why you resist. Use #NoMuslimBan #NoRevisedEO

- Raise your voice at a congressional town hall. Check here for town hall happening over the weekend, and use this script to voice your opposition and demand

- Use messaging that is broad and inclusive of refugees, Arabs, Muslims, and immigrants, and link up with organizations that work with Latinx, Asian, indigenous, LGBTQ, and Black communities in your area. Check here for more information.

In solidarity-
