Helooo there,
I am a long time Maoist from Indiana. I do a lot of anti-fascist stuff around here. I am also a computer scientist, so if you have any coding questions just send them my way.
Welcome, comrade! Can you explain how you became a leftist in general and more specifically a maoist?
"I am vegan because I have compassion for animals; I see them as beings possessed of value not unlike humans. I am an anarchist because I have that same compassion for humans, and because I refuse to settle for compromised perspectives, half-assed strategies and sold-out objectives. As a radical, my approach to animal and human liberation is without compromise: total freedom for all, or else."
"It takes no more time to be a vegetarian than to eat animal flesh.... When non-vegetarians say ‘human problems come first’ I cannot help wondering what exactly it is that they are doing for humans that compels them to continue to support the wasteful ruthless, exploitation of farm animals."
I have a lot of friends in Europe who did antifascist stuff. A lot of it started there, as I became gradually more involved with politics. The rest was just me gradually thinking about things until I ended up where I am now, if that makes sense.
Sorry to be a bit roundabout, I just never had a "eureka moment" that I can trace it back to.
Sure, you can come to a conclusion in a variety of ways. Do you think a state is necessary to achieve socialism and communism, and why?

In a perfect world, no, it would not be necessary. However this is not a perfect world.
