    America's Day of Reflection: A polar plunge for Peltier

    January 14th 2017, 3:00PM
    Meet in front of EPA building at 12th and Pennsylvania Washington D.C. at 3:00 pm and march to the reflecting pool Lincoln Memorial Side and we will jump in one by one in an act of civil disobedience in support of clemency for Leonard Peltier, and clean water for Standing Rock, Flint, and anywhere else it is threatened. Bringing a change of clothes is recommended.

    Mumia Abu-Jamal

    Our brother, Mumia Abu-Jamal, is not a federal prisoner, and is held in a Pennsylvania state prison. However, action is needed on his behalf. The PA Department of Corrections is appealing Judge Mariana's ruling that the state should give him the curative hepatitis C drugs.

    So, please contact Secretary John Wetzel, head of
    the PA DOC, at 717-728-2573; 717-728-4109;
    [email protected]
    or @johnewetzel and ask that Mumia and all prisoners
    with hep C be given this life-saving medication.
