Hello all, I am new!
Hi guys,
I've been a leftist for a long time now, and have frequently been on subreddits about leftist ideas as well. I'm one of the moderators of r/tristateleftism, a group that advocates for a workers revolution within the greater New York area.
I consider myself a Marxist, but not necessarily a Leninist (disregard the username it's just a cool sounding one). I am still forming my ideas on whether we need a vanguard party or not, as it seems like a practical necessity but we have seen how it can lead to extreme authoritarianism. I have my ideas on how to combat this, but again, I am still debating internally.
I am part of the PSL (Party for Socialism and Liberation.) I am a big fan of Gloria La Riva, the frontrunner of the party. I attend protests, and consider myself an activist.
