Default question: fascist fashion and how to identify and avoid it

so i'm pretty new to the leftist scene (i used to distance myself from political stuff as much as possible, but that isn't an option for me anymore) and, as such, i've got a whole truckload of questions. i'm gonna start with maybe the shallowest and silliest one: what clothes/shoes/etc are popular among the fascist scene? i'm a little worried about this-- probably too worried, but it's better to be safe than sorry, right?-- cuz my only pair of cold-weather boots are these:
    Screen Shot 2016-11-10 at 3.15.10 PM.png
and i'm not totally clear on what the differences are between skinhead-y combat boots and regular ones, so idk if they're ok anymore.
again, i know this is a goofy question and that i'm probably just being neurotic, but i really dont wanna end up accidentally dressing like a bigot just because i'm not hip to the scene.

This indeed is a very goofy question, dress how you want. Fascist clothing would be a swastika flag cape, i dont think that is your choice of fashion. I don't scan the street for "fascist symbols". Actions speak, not what shoes you wear. If you like your shoes, wear them. Unless they are made of leather, then you are a bourgeoisie scumbag who hurts animals.
"I am vegan because I have compassion for animals; I see them as beings possessed of value not unlike humans. I am an anarchist because I have that same compassion for humans, and because I refuse to settle for compromised perspectives, half-assed strategies and sold-out objectives. As a radical, my approach to animal and human liberation is without compromise: total freedom for all, or else."

"It takes no more time to be a vegetarian than to eat animal flesh.... When non-vegetarians say ‘human problems come first’ I cannot help wondering what exactly it is that they are doing for humans that compels them to continue to support the wasteful ruthless, exploitation of farm animals."

The main difference between animals and plants is that animals scream louder when you put them in the pan. 'Plants have feelings too you [email protected]!' xaxaxa

To OP: Yeah, don't worry about if your boots aren't the right fashion. Nuff said.

The only difference between animals and plants is that animals scream when you kill them.

To OP: Yeah, don't worry about if your boots aren't the right fashion. Nuff said.
I hope you do realise that that is not actually the only difference.
    Anyways lets not get off-topic

Pigs taste better than brussell sprouts))

On topic: Communism is not a fashion or a lifestyle choice. It's a scientific movement. The only communist fashion accessory are boots made from the skin of bourgeois pigs.

OP remember that Skinheads are not necessarily related to the fascist/racist movement.

Skinheads originally started as an Anarchist movement and like most things was co-opted by the right.
Boots for instance are still worn by Anti-fascist skin heads such as R.A.S.H. (Red and Anarchist Skinheads).

Its easier to tell by symbols that people wear then by their choice of clothing. If a Skinhead has Obviously Nazi Tattoos then they are Fascists.
If they dont they may be Anti-Fascists.

Fun fact. If you see a Skinhead wearing those boots and the laces are red it means that they have spilled blood.

Learn Nazi Symbols and Slang as a matter of safety. There are a lot of weird ones out their.
And do the same for all leftist groups. You never know when recognizing the sign for a Squat painted on a wall could be useful... Or mistaking a Nazi Symbol for a leftist one could land you in trouble.
Some of them look alike. The squat symbol and the Anti-Fa arrows could be confused for Right symbols to those uneducated about such things.

A lot of fascists go for the skinhead look, but so do quite a few antifascists.

Definitely don't worry about wearing boots. The laces thing seems to vary from place to place such that fascist laces from one city will be meaningless in another, and vice versa.

Fascists, if they want to signal their politics to other fascists, often display symbols like these: https://antifascistactionsydney.word...the-far-right/

Of course, when fascists want to, they hide their tattoos and fascist jackets and such. They can put on suits, they can dress like hipsters, they can wear the same clothes anyone else does. If they want to remain hidden, they will. Infiltrators are a problem, but I really doubt anyone will give you trouble for wearing boots. It doesn't really mean anything.

How would one go about learning the differences? i have been confused for months about this symbol. It is shown at both antifa and facist rallies where the colors seem to differ but i cant find any pattern in who has what colours.
Edit: if this is actually a facist symbol, im sorry tell me and i will delete it! Im honestly not sure and here to question what it means. If there is a other thread/forum section for this please tell me.

    You can always forfeit those if you're unsure. Sell them and buy these: http : // madebyjulianne . com/ wp-content / uploads/ 2012 /10 / IMG_5033.jpg.

It's actually really annoying that that symbol has somehow appeared occasionally in use by fascists. Seeing as it has been used by the Antifascistische Aktion for almost a century

I have no idea why some fascists have adopted it, though I think it's only a tiny group. 99% of the times it's still AFA using it and if fascists use it, it usually says "Nationale Socialistische Aktion" or something like that.

Really don't understand why they use the symbol of a group that's literally been founded to fight nazis

The one you posted is definitely used by anti-fa. Don't know what the nazi one looks like.
EDIT: Ah, i can see why it's confusing. It depends on what's written in the border.

theres 2 answers, first if you live in an area filled with skinheads who walk around in steel toed Dr. Martens boots like these

Then dont wear those, second if you dont live in an area full of skinheads then you probably should just wear comfortable shoes and not worry about what is fashionable, a pair of $10,000 name brand shoes is far more fascistic than any pair of Doc martens.

You can identify a fashisto by their little caps like this:
    download.jpg
(ALthough I think they look quite comely on a gentleman.)

And often by their right-wing bicycle hats such as this:
    ww2-m42-ef64-german-waffen-ss-helmets-h84.jpg
But mostly from their long flowing gowns they wear such as these:

Here is an example of Skinheads who are Anarchists. RASH (Red & Anarchist Skinheads) and SHARP (Skinheads against racial prejudice) are organizations that fight fascism.
*Their >are< white SKin heads who are anti-fascists; these just happen to be Indonesian Skinheads.

This is another Anti-fa symbol (the OG symbol actually) the three arrows where designed to easily cover up the swastika.
