Hello.

I'm some reclusive loser who's into Communist Revolution and lives in a rural shithole.

I came here because I'm looking for a place to talk about communism and whatnot with people that aren't tankies, or liberals who are into cooperatives. And also I just like the feeling of forums.


Since somebody is probably going to ask, I've been all over the place, From Orthodox Trotskyism to Luddite Insurrectionist Anarchism. For now lets just say I'm a Revolutionary Marxist who's interested in Communisation theory and some other things.

I do enjoy reading whenever my short attention span lets me, and for the amount I've time I've spent interested in this I'd say I have read a decent amount of theory, although I still have far too many things on my list I haven't gotten around to.

Anyway I suppose this isn't a terrible introduction so I'll leave it at this.

That's rad - I've definitely had some significant interest in communization, and have recently been "reading backward" to the development of autonomism in Italy.

Are there particular struggles or organizations you're engaged with?

What part of the world is your rural shithole in?

I live in a small township in Ontario, the closest actual city is Ottawa. There's some pretty bad and depressing poverty and then you've also got rich assholes in big houses playing this pseudo hick shit that's really annoying.
The whole "I'm from the country" bullshit brings my blood to a boil, I get it you live in a big house next to some other big houses in a place where there's nothing else but farms you don't have to work on.


I'm not involved with any organization at the moment, but I am considering joining the IWW, which I probably will sooner or later. In Ottawa the only two big organizations (if not the only two organizations at all) to my knowledge is the RCP/RSM and the IWW.
The RCP/RSM seems to have become the largest or at least most visible group of what could be called the "Far-left" in Ontario. I was quite surprised when I found out about them and their size and activity in Ottawa of all places. Even if I really dislike maoism I have to say I kind of dig their aesthetic, the Red Bloc sort of thing looks bad ass. So yeah I'm not a fan of the RCP but I do find them interesting. For now the Wobblies would be the only thing I'm looking to join.

I made some attempts to work with the PCR/RCP - I can't say I was impressed. They seem to be experts at exaggerating their size, importance, and level of activity. While they produce some analysis I find appealing, they still finish it all off with the same tired Leninist cliches. Needless to say, my experience, despite some personable cadre and a willingness to "throw down", was largely disappointing.
I've also never seen one of their "Red Fist" groups do anything but tail black blocs, but . . .

"Red Fist" is what they call their contingents at protests and rallies I'm assuming.
I was thinking that they come off as more of a wannabe black bloc than anything else, but to their credit they do a good job of looking snazzy.
