Default Hello Comrades, recent convert to anarchocommunism here

Hi all, I'm a recent convert to anarchocommunism and university student studying physics in Britain. Been through an interesting political journey, starting as a liberal in the Lib Dems, then moved to the Labour Party (which I am still in and intend to stay in, even though I no longer believe it can achieve socialism but nonetheless believe it can alleviate some of the suffering of people under capitalism) I then started reading up about anarchocommunism, especially looking at the anarchist communes in the Spanish Civil War, and have since become convinced that it can work. I like to describe myself as an Immediatist (as opposed to impossibilist or acclerationist) revolutionary libertarian socialist. I look forward to many discussions on revolutionary socialism.

by the way my username of Pinko_Cuck is inspired by the insults my friends throw at me

Do your friends call you a cuck and things like that in a 4chan /pol/ way? As in cuck to the jews, to bolshevism kind of thing? I didn't know that stuff had purchase outside the internet (in the sense of people feeling not restricted by political correctness enough to let loose in the 'real world'.)

It comes from the internet, but different origin, this is from a shortened version of cuckold, which apparently now is an insult for anyone leftwing, a bit like pinko which is why they call me both. I believe the origin is from cuckold meaning someone who is being cheated on, so it originally was used to insult male feminists, the implication being that any man identifying as a feminist is submissive and being used. As I say my friends don't really mean it, they just like taking the piss.

oh, cuckold porn is more like, a white guy who likes to watch a black guy fuck the white guy's white wife or something.

So hip reactionaries use it to refer to whites supposedly letting black / muslim / immigrants take over the country and get too much welfare, commit "white genocide", not say "merry christmas" etc.

Anyone saying it is a racist, fascist piece of shit.

anyway, I think your name is funny, fwiw.

This should remind us that the threat we are facing should be taken very seriously and that it must not be reduced to a mere internet phenomenon. As many of you know, 4chan is home to the alt-right, a part of the neo-fascist Silicon ideology that manifests itself... yes, mainly on the internet. However, one only needs to observe everyday language, people's behavior, their jokes, etc. in order to realize that this is a deeply ideological issue that doesn't restrict itself to the realm of the internet. We must take the gamers, the "nerds" and so on seriously as social subjects, insofar as the internet has implications for those individuals and their "real life", if we could ever make a difference between the internet and "real life" (they are just as different as mental and physical labor). How could one overestimate the alt-right phenomenon, when its ideology and its culture obviously not only grow rapidly but also become part of everyday activity?
