A Hindu anarchist? That is interesting. What is your opinion on some classist aspects of certain hindu texts, like the Manusmriti, for example? (Like how it justifies the oppression of dalits, things like that).

Hi everyone!
My name's Kirran. IRL, too.
I was born and brought up in Mid Wales, and now live in England. I've always been a leftist, really, having articulated myself as a socialist from pretty early on (basically democratic socialism) but the adage 'You get more right-wing as you get older' has not held true for me: I've drifted into anarchism over the course of the last year or so.
One could fairly call me an anarcho-pacifist, an anarcho-communist, an anarcho-syndicalist, a green anarchist, a platformist and probably no end of other things. Anarchist is a good enough general label.
I'm also religious, within a Hindu tradition. So that's weird.
I heard about RevLeft first from a Marxist on another forum who may or may not still be here. And it keeps coming up on Google!
Hope to have many fruitful discussions with you all.
Peace
Kirran
