Britain First founder resigns over 'racism' and mosque invasions
Dowson very apologetic and back-peddly here, prob just covering himself after all the bad press over the mosque invasions.

I always find it very unconvincing when leaders of far-right groups leave and claim that they're upset by the number of racists attracted to their group. It's just not fooling anyone - of course a group like Britain First is going to attract racists and fascists. It is fundamentally a racist organisation.

If you need to specify that you aren't a racist, you are probably a racist.
he's probably come to the uncomfortable realisation that thanks to the exposure Britain First have been shamelessly pursuing for the last year or so that he's probably a target for a whole lot of people. No doubt he's got an incredibly shady past (i.e shadier than leading Britain First) and he's clocked on to how easy it would be to pull up. This looks like a guy trying to cover his tracks and slip out of the limelight before anything untoward happens to him.
