    Thanks for the stereotyping, bro.

Rape is illegal in Brazil, btw, so there is no possibility of anyone being "legally raped".

Not true. Sex with a minor is legal and prostitution is legal. Unless you think those things are choices.

Sex with a minor is legal? Depends on what you call a "minor". Sex is illegal with those under 14; indeed, it is tantamount to rape (what Americans would call "statutory" rape), and it carries the same penalties as rape (8 to 15 years imprisonment, as provided in article 217-A of the Penal Code).

Prostitution is semilegal, but paying for sex with those under 18 is illegal, and carries a penalty between four and ten years in prison (article 244 of the Statute of Children and Adolescents).

So, no, it is impossible to rape anyone legally. Sorry to damage your first-world sence of superiority, but you are just ill-informed.

14 to 18 is a big difference, especially when many people in favelas arent considered citizens. Sex is legal with those above 14 though, unless you're paying for it?

    14 to 18 is a big difference,
The difference between 14 and 18 is the following: having sex with someone under 14 is a crime regardless of any circumstance, and it is equated to rape. Having sex with someone between 14 and 18 may or may not be a crime, and is only rape if violence is involved. But paying for sexual relations with anyone under 18 is a crime in and of itself, so there is no "legal rape of children prostitutes in Brazil" at all.

especially when many people in favelas arent considered citizens.
Well, law is law, reality is a different issue. But breaking a law and getting along with it is very different from "legally committing a crime".

And of course, from a legal point of view, all people in favelas are considered citizens. That they frequently lack the means for affirming their citizenship is a different issue - that won't be solved by White guilt and liberal lies about "child prostitutes".

So you dont see a connection between the lack of rights for favella residents and the upsurge of the prostitution industry during tourist season? Besides the fact that there are atm at least 500,000 child prostitutes who arent being protected by the state?

I hope Germany beats the Dutch +/-.

And Pepe is an exceptionally stupid player. There's room for criticizing the decision to send him off, but it's his reaction after the foul that makes it something else than a yellow.

There are several seperate issues being totally confused here in this thread:

1). The capitalization of soccer/football through a global organization FIFA
2). The social results of capitalism and the profiteering and exploitation that go hand in hand and are intrinsically linked
    3). Liking and disusssing football/soccer

If you are UNABLE to differentiate these issues you have some serious learning to do....so UNLESS you adopt a complete life style where you avoid ANY and ALL activities linked with exploitation berrating others for liking socer/footbal (besides telling them the sport itself sucks) is akin to saying you don't like people going on holidays because tourism is intrinsically linked to increase in prositution and exploitation....and it is especially hypocritial when you type such messages on a computer.

The obnoxious figure that is C. Ronaldo is enough for me to wish Portugal was demolished by 4 penalties like that which Brazil got as a gift.

    No.

I quite clearly see the connection between their poverty and the unability to uphold their rights, on one hand, and between poverty and prostitution, on the other.

    Rape is another, different thing.

Besides the fact that there are atm at least 500,000 child prostitutes who arent being protected by the state?
And this statistics come from exactly where?

I don't believe there are 500,000 child prostitutes in Brazil, at all. It sounds like an invention of American "liberals", not as something real.

We understand that you don't like "CR7". What is difficult to understand is why disliking Cristiano Ronaldo makes you wish that:

I hope Germany beats the Dutch +/-.
Last time I checked, he was still Portuguese.

Robin van Persie's header was so beautiful. Even though it has nothing to do with today's matches.
