Not to say that any of you are any worse, but one of my favorites here is Remus Bleys. He definitely expropriates the cake in debating. JAJAJAJAJA!!!! He also always responds outspokenly, but while still making pretty thoughtful contributions.

In general, which members on this forum do you think are the most knowledgeable about politics, economics, history, etc? Who are the best debaters, or those with the most erudite understanding of the topics on this forum?
In my short time here, I've noticed three main types of members. Those who are new to socialism but generally think it's a good idea, those who have a fairly wide-ranging understanding of socialist theory and history, and those who have a comprehensive and scholarly understanding of all things revolutionary left.
Some of you guys blow my mind with the stuff you write.
No real reason for this thread aside from genuine curiosity. And I figured I'd branch out into other, less serious sub-forums on this site.
"A consistent libertarian must oppose private ownership of the means of production and wage slavery, which as a component of [right-wing libertarianism], is incompatible with the principle that labor must be freely undertaken and under the control of the producer." - Noam Chomsky"The masses are the decisive element, they are the rock on which the final victory of the revolution will be built." - Rosa Luxemburg
"When the people are being beaten with a stick, they are not much happier if it is called 'the People's Stick.'" - Mikhail Bakunin
"Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our people have guns, why would we let them have ideas?" - bourgeois revolutionary Joseph Stalin

Dang that was a harsh statement from schumpeter. I personally find, although i disagree with him on most topics, that #FF0000 is my favorite member so far.

Fuck, I could make a huge list. I think the list of those I don't think are knowledgeable would be smaller, but I won't make that one. I say you all are reallyjust not the restricted members, or members who need to be restricted IMO.

The only two users I have ever really learned from are Redstar2000 and Ravachol.
Further users whose intellects I respect, but whom I don't always agree with, are aufheben, Mari3L, Psycho and bcbm.
I also like stuff Yet_Another_Boring_Marxist (corrected for spelling) and The Godless Utopian post.
I also have a lot of respect for Brutus and Bostana, who for two people so young (compared to me), are becoming proper kick-ass theoreticians.
Off the top of my head, Aufheben and The Garbage Disposal Unit seem like they know their stuff. The Godless Utopian too, I keep confusing him and TGDU.
The criticism of religion ends with the teaching that man is the highest essence for man – hence, with the categoric imperative to overthrow all relations in which man is a debased, enslaved, abandoned, despicable essence, relations which cannot be better described than by the cry of a Frenchman when it was planned to introduce a tax on dogs: Poor dogs! They want to treat you as human beings!

I respect the hell out of you man

Aufheben showcases a level of theoretical understanding that I haven't seen from anyone else on the forum. I also really like TGDU, we have our disagreements, but he's one of the only posters who I feel I can consistently engage/learn with/from. I appreciate Quail's posts alot, since they've helped change my views on lots of things in the past. Rafiq is another good poster, who whenever I come across his posts I'll read them; I'm always interested in his posts specifically dealing with ideology/materialism/etc. When it comes to philosophy and things of that nature, L.A.P. knows his stuff, as well as admiral swagmeister g funk. I've always been a fan of Q as well. Hmm those are the ones coming to mind at the moment, but I guarantee I'm forgetting some. Most of the best posters over the years are gone. Despite whatever disagreements/issues I had with them, I also always enjoyed/learned from, Ostrinski, Grenzer, Fred, etc.
Yep, pretty much.
That 20,000 doesn't even include my chit-chat postsWhich, let's face it, are probably double that.
I wish posts here and in music and elsewhere counted![]()
