So considering that you think that the states you hold to be socialist were also proletarian democracies or whatever, or were some form of democracy as they claimed, whats with the tendencies for such long and entrenched rules of certain figures?

Does democracy in 'socialism' tend towards this somehow? Why?

As a general rule (with some exceptions), within what ML's would hold to be socialist democracies, rulers tend to stay in power for longer than in states that bourgeois liberalism was hold to be democratic - why?
