Default Germany Probes Hundreds Of Alleged Unsolved Neo-Nazi Killings

BERLIN (AP) — German authorities are investigating whether hundreds of unsolved killings and attempted killings over the past two decades were committed by neo-Nazis.
The 746 cases with no known suspects involved 849 victims and took place between 1990 and 2011. The period spans the time between German reunification and the discovery of a neo-Nazi cell suspected of committing 10 murders.
That prompted a fundamental review of how German security services deal with far-right crimes.
Interior Ministry spokesman Hendrik Loerges confirmed the probe first reported Wednesday by Germany's Neue Osnabruecker Zeitung newspaper.
Independent researchers and anti-racism campaigners have long criticized the criteria used by German authorities to classify a crime as being motivated by far-right ideology.
Currently some 63 cases during the 21-year period are classified as far-right crimes.

I wonder if they will actually prosecute any of this, and how many are going to actually get convicted.

"For example, to say that the relation between industrial capital and the class of the wage workers is expressed in precisely the same way in Belgium and Thailand, and that the praxis of their respective struggles should be established without taking into account in either of the two cases the factors of race or nationality, does not mean you are an extremist, but it means in effect that you have understood nothing of Marxism."

Only racial attacks and then only with clear racist slogans shouted etc are labeled as extreme-right political violence, attacks on anti-fascists, lgtb's, trade-unionists and especially the homeless are almost never given the recognition of political violence.

The german police tends to be blind on the rigth eye when it comes to underground-nazism. A perfect example is the NSU case.
In short: Between the years 2000 and 2006 the nazi terrorist group "Nationalsozialistischer Untergrund" (National Socialist Underground) NSU killed at least 9 immigrants and one german policewoman, placed several bombs and robbed 14 banks. The german police wasn't able to link all these crimes until a bank robbery went wrong and two members of the NSU killed themselves and a third member turned herself in.
Altough the police saw a connection between the killings because the same weapon was used all the time nazis were never really suspected for whatever reason.

dont forget the allegation that a secret service officer (not sure what they are called sorry) was present during one of the killings
