    Default politicalcompass.org?

    I made a test at politicalcompass.org. My results were: Economic Left/Right: -10.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.67

My questions are: Is it a serious test? Is that a typical result for a Marxist-Leninist? What famous people had a similar result?

They have a page of some famous people. Not surprisingly, Obama leans Conservative.

Most of these tests are garbage, but I would say this is the best one.
I have never seen an MLs results before, but that sounds about right (if not a touch to fare to the lib left) in comparison to others I have seen. Here is mine as a libertarian Marxist.

Really all it is is a juvenile test to see who's more Left Libertarian on their charts. I really doubt that this is the staple of ideological concern. A stupid quiz on the internet doesn't mean jack. Ron Paul fanboys love this thing though, so that also says a lot.

I think it's a fairly decent test, I went about in the (-6, -6) ballpark.

Hmm, the closest one to me is Stalin, but he has more like a -8, 8 result. I'm wondering if there's a graphic with more people.

    That's not a good thing.

All of the questions are confined within the capitlaist system, therefore it is of little use for a communist.

I can't help but find the test a little rediculous. Some of the questions are simply idiotic (like the one about abstract art or the one about astrology) and have absolutely nothing to do with politics. In the end I'd say its geared more towards those who are only moderately interested in politics looking for something to pass the time or for those who want to use it to brag about their particular political position.

I was a green, can't remember the score. Closest to Mandela. I find that fitting, I want a free and fair world first, a specific political system second.

I prefer this one. A little more accurate, especially for people outside of the mainstream. Still a little biased towards the status quo but then again so are all political tests.

Oh, I remember this one, it was a thread on here a while ago where a lot of revlefter's took it. Everyone turned out to be trotskyists, except for the anarchists who apparently were "cosmopolitan social-democrats".
"What is necessary is to go beyond any false opposition of programme versus spontaneity. Communism is both the self-activity of the proletariat and the rigorous theoretical critique that expresses and anticipates it."

"...Stalinism is eternally condemned to govern capital, and the ideological dynamics of Stalinism are tied to this peculiar type of capital management; it is locked within this framework, reproducing the logic of capitalism under the veil of communism. For this reason, Stalinism, and its various derivatives, cannot accurately be regarded as communist if we choose to define it in materialist terms." - Tim Cornelis

Wow, 'cosmopolitan social-democrats'... anyone else hear the subtext 'Jews' in there? Or is it just me being paranoid?

I've not really seen a lot of love for this particular test from lolbertarians. If anything there's a perception that this test is biased towards liberal politics.

Lolbertarians tend to prefer the tests which base themselves on the ones with a original test using this diamond was created by a self-declared libertarian org, and I'm pretty sure others using this format tend to fall along similar lines.

I got 'Social-Democratic Cosmopolitan', apparently. "Cosmopolitan, Secular, Visionary, Anarchistic, communistic, anthropocentric pacifist" .

Some of those questions are so one-sided and dumb. Especially the shit about military intervention. And why even put a racist query like 'countries are better because of their gene pool' comment in there? That was pretty offensive.
'despite being a comedy, there's a lot of truth to this, black people always talking shit behind white peoples back. Blacks don't give a shit about white, why do whites give them so much "nice" attention?'
