we're not all engaging in this lunacy, i promise.
with the exception of the poster above the people most reactionary about this seem to be people who don't live here- they've been watching the media make a spectacle out of the issue, showing certain clips over and over as if the explosions were still happening, publishing all manner of social media 'details' as to the life of these young men, flashing images of this kid's face next to pictures of tanks and snipers lining watertown etc.
i feel like if this were a chechen liberation thing someone would have claimed it and the target would have been better connected. this seems like 2 young men, one of them a teenager who has seen his older brother killed, lashing out. they are also bostonians.
people who were treating yesterday like a sporting event and jacking off at all the guns and sirens and choppers are the sick ones.
I don't give a fuck about your emotional shit slingings. Yes the event was tragic, but the tragedy is not constrained by your magnitudes of spontaneous emotional appeals to chauvinism. I would get punched? And that doesn't change the fact that you're a spineless counter revolutionary who in the midst of feasible circumstances would side with the enemy. If you were in New York during 9/11 you would today be a neoconservative. You're a moron who is unable to articulate events with a materialist understanding because your views are not supported by materialism to begin with, but bullshit emotions.

It's personal, hence I'm trying to be civil about this, but you're not even trying to understand what we're trying to convey, what I tried to explain in my initial post. Instead you throw a whole lot of fallacies, then I respond trying to explain it again, you continue to ignore it, and that gets under your skin.
pew pew pew
The problem is that you think that the foreign-ness of the terrorists is some basis for a moral critique of them. As if some very young men who moved here as kids are somehow more morally repugnant because they weren't born in the US.
Your letting your emotional disgust by the culprits of the crime blind you to what you are saying and how you are buying into reactionary rhetoric, even if you are generally supportive of immigrants etc.
Well, that's heartening!

Wait, are you kidding?
You've been criticizing terrorism in which 2 people were killed with all that nationalistic/patriotic bullshit, but I can't see you criticizing US State Terrorism (which has no comparison with any other kind of terrorism) which probably kills more people every hour than the total number of people killed in the Boston explosion. I can't see you criticizing the deaths of millions of Iraqi "8 year old boys" and Afghanis and Yemenis and what not.
Why this American Exceptionalism?
I mean I can literally find quotes from Bill O'Reilly in your posts. The following are a few examples:
And you say you're Not a jingoist?
Even worse. Now you're a hypocrite.
Counterrevolutionary? Enemy? These guys are the type of people we would be fighting.
I'm not your enemy.

By the way, is queen not a homophobic slur?
The revolutionary despises public opinion. He despises and hates the existing social morality in all its manifestations. For him, morality is everything which contributes to the triumph of the revolution. Immoral and criminal is everything that stands in its way.

Yeah, it sounds nationalistic in hindsight, but I'm not a chauvinist asshole who hates anyone or thinks I'm better than anyone. I don't think that people should come to a place that is better than their own and harm innocents and provoke a reactionary backlash, that's all. I don't live in Boston anymore, but that's my hometown and I grew up there. I'm not shit talking anyone but the bombers.

Well, there ya go. Learning experience yes?
So addressing the fact that you may have used a homophobic slur, means that he/she needs to get over themselves? If this was my subforum, you'd already have a thread in the mod forum going on, about your potential banning.
no dude no
'heavens above, how awful it is to live outside the law - one is always expecting what one rightly deserves.'
petronius, the satyricon
I was joking, and he seemed to be going along with it for a while. Chill the fuck out. Banning? I've been contributing here for two years, everyone knows I'm not a homophobe, a jingoist, or any of that other bullshit. You're not banning me for a fucking word.
My machine my machine,

Why do you say that it is 'good' that Arabs dont want to be in your country? Do they disgust you?![]()
Perhaps you can't get this through that thick skull of yours, but joking about homophobia is unacceptable here. Can you comprehend that?
Edit: It also wouldn't of been just for that 'word' but also for the reactionary viewpoints that you've espoused here.
No, but I don't want them to come where they'll be unhappy.
