I'm curious, how do Maoists on this forum justify Mao's theories on collaboration with the bourgeoisie?
This seems to suggest that Mao openly promoted developing capitalism in China through the native Chinese bourgeoisie, supervising it so that when ready they could eventually take over and enact Socialism. And it's hardly isolated to that single work from 1949.
"Behind the army stand the militarists. Behind the militarists stand finance capital and the capitalist. Brothers in blood; companions in crime." ~ Dr. Norman Bethune, 1939
No Mao never supported capitalism in China, he believed that if all these four classes collaborated to defeat feudalism, (the period before capitalism as defined by Marx) they could skip the capitalist phase to create a New Democratic socialist state.
Mao was a reactionary and the ultimate defiler ot Marxism. That... abomination today called Maoism is such a bizarre clusterfuck not even the most skilled vulgarists could devise a more obscene embaressment to us.

Isn't the YCL-LJC a reformist group itself? Just curious.
I have never heard anything funnier, and our parties don't care about being an embarrassment to any tiny reading group in the west. If you had been anything relevant to the international communist movement then your participation in class struggle would have made the people around you see beyond your alleged embarrassment by political movements in faraway countries.
