Israel is a combination of cruel of injsustices
"“The rise of inequality in Israel (which together with the United States, Mexico and Chile is counted among the most socially unequal countries inside the OECD) is following a similar tendency. According to a report by the Adva Center [an Israeli policy analysis institute], in recent years there was a large increase in the income and standard of living of a small percentage of Israelis, combined with few if any noticeable benefits for the majority and a sharp decrease in the standard of living for some."

What do you expect with right-wing ultra-nationalist quasi-fascists in power?
I think this is interesting in terms of how we look at israeli society. there's a tendency amongst certain left groups to say that all israelis universally benefit from the occupation and from the systematic oppression of palestinians, but this seems to suggest otherwise and note that the same class distinctions that are everywhere also exist strongly in israel. I can't really see the whole article but I'd imagine that these inequalities are also racially divided, ie. israeli arabs suffering the most followed by mizrahi/sephardi jews and, although the gap has narrowed, ashkenazi jews still benefitting the most. it's politically useless to just see israel as a homogenous society.
