I can't post links so I'll just list the ones I remember

    Inadaptats
    Banda Bassotti
    Mencer Vermello
    Angelic Upstarts
    Los Fastidios
    Nucleo Terco
    Skalariak

    Mostly Oi!

This would be all for now. I see you are an anarchist, right? I ought to tell you that some of the bands are Marxist-Leninists.

That's fine mate. I am an anarchist. But why would it bother me if their Marxist-Leninists? lol I still consider them allies. Anyways I thought the Angelic Upstarts were racist's? At least I thought Mensi was? Can someone clear this up for me

Well, anarchists tend to not like Stalin that much. But if it doesn't bother you, great.

And no, Mensi was not a racist by any means. He was actually a fairly active anti-fascist back in the day. You can find a documentary about anti-fascism on youtube called 'Fighting Talk' which he presents.

I don't really like Stalin to much to be honest 1 And thanks for clearing up the whole Mensi thing I heard in different places that he was racist and in other places that he wasn't racist.

I swear nearly half of my posts contain the words Inner Terrestrials at this point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0844fIcH4bM might be a bit skaish for you, although the best punk is ska influenced!

This is an out and out punk belter though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuSXJ-7YG6o

Here's some older shit from an older comrade (I used to play in a band):

    Dead Kennedys
    The Jam
    Housemartins
    Billy Bragg
    The Mekons (sort of)
    Rude Haiku

All but Dead Kennedys are not, strictly speaking, punk. However, they have some connection to it -- and they make great music. Rock on.

Thanks mate. As long as they sound punkish that's fine with me.

and JKS's other band The Weakerthans are amazing as well, if a lot less heavy and more folky/experimental.

beyond that, you should try out mischief brew, choking victim/leftover crack, abject, the bruisers, a//political, dropkick murphys, flogging molly the rabble and whole wheat bread

Gorilla Biscuits are also great, although their politics isn't explicit in their lyrics, the music is awesome and their bassist is IWW
