KKK Protests against....the WBC? (old)

I guess this is old but it's the first I heard of it:

Think the world’s not coming to an end this week? Well, the Klu Klux Klan stepped up to confront the Westboro Baptist Church this week, when the WBC protested a military memorial.
Now we’ve got common ground with the KKK. Oh joy.
On Monday, as President Obama honored fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery, three protestors from WBC held up signs nearby reading “Pray for more dead soldiers” and “God hates your prayers.” (WBC has also promised to picket Sandy Hook Elementary School, the site of Friday’s massacre.)
But among the dozens of counter-protestors at Arlington was a group led by Dennis LaBonte, an imperial wizard of a regional KKK chapter. LaBonte said his group came “to support of the troops” and that “it’s an absolute shame [for the church to] show up and disrupt people’s funerals.”
In response, WBC member Abigail Phelps said the Klan has no moral authority: “The Bible doesn’t say anywhere that it’s an abomination to be born of a certain gender or race.”

WBC is pretty universally hated across the political spectrum... so the US's most famous hate-group is tailing I guess... afraid they were loosing the hate-edge. WBC are so disliked that I wouldn't be surprised if anti-gay bigots also hated them for "putting back the cause".

If they're only pretending to be transphobic, I think a couple emmys are in order.

1. Of course the KKK opposes WBC. As terrible as they are, they would naturally oppose a group which claims that American soldiers are in hell.

2. I haven't seen WBC in the news in a long time, even though I'm sure they did the same thing after the Aurora shooting. Hopefully they don't get much media attention for this, because they thrive on it.
