The winter has been typical here. It was the summer that scared me, we had over a month without rain!! The dryest year in record!
two years ago, we had 4 straight weeks in spring where it rained at least every other day. then we had 3 months where it rained, at best, 4 times. Not only did our spring crops wash out into the yard (with our topsoil!
), but our fall crops burnt up as seedlings in the summer. today, it's about 60 degrees, which is really warm. I wish it was colder, though. I love winter.
