"Win, lose or draw...long as you squabble and you get down, that's gangsta."
Mental disabilities or no mental, he killed an innocent. His own life, then, must be forfeit. 4 years isn't even a slap on the wrist![]()
Four years for clubbing a mentally disabled man to death? Pigs sure get off easy in America.
Any real change implies the breakup of the world as one has always known it, the loss of all that gave one an identity, the end of safety. And at such a moment, unable to see and not daring to imagine what the future will now bring forth, one clings to what one knew, or dreamed that one possessed. Yet, it is only when a man is able, without bitterness or self-pity, to surrender a dream he has long possessed that he is set free - he has set himself free - for higher dreams, for greater privileges.”
-James Baldwin
"We change ideas like neckties."
- E.M. Cioran
Guys you could find 100 cops in this country who have killed a man and I'm sure that together their sentences wouldn't add up to 4 years. I'm actually surprised that the pig got any time at all.
“How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 6:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so?” Charles Bukowski, Factotum
"In our glorious fight for civil rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans, as 'right-to-work.' It provides no 'rights' and no 'works.' Its purpose is to destroy labor unions and the freedom of collective bargaining... We demand this fraud be stopped." MLK

Yeah that is reality in America for you, police can get out of trouble just for their position, hell they can run a red light or speed and run into someone and they will get off scott free.

I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth; I am a citizen of the world. - Eugene Debs
Such things happen in many other countries though, and the sentences ( if it comes to that in the first place ) are even milder.
