The real elites aren't actors of course and are CEOs and shit who are more responcible for producing crap than actors - and irregardless of their personal politics (which historically have been right-wing) it's a major fucking industry that tries to get around the craft unions and wants to smash file sharing etc. So this was always a weird hypocritical faux-populist line by conservatives... but now that they are scraping the bottom of the celeb barrel with Voight and Norris it's even more hilariously desperate.
I guess the voting among Hollywood professionals goes like this: the Democrats get the obnoxious moralistic petty-bourgeois Hollywood vote and the Republicans get the bat-shit insane petty-bourgeois Hollywood vote. Thank gawd that Arnold's chances of a political career are just barely above anyone named George Bush or else we'd have to hear 20 minutes of bad puns every RNC.
