    Default Hi

Hi All. I don't know a great deal about politics, but i know that my views and beliefs will generally fall into those expressed here. I am left of centre on most subjects. I look forward to taking part here. I will probably be doing more reading than posting for now as i have a lot to learn. lol
Any book recommendations and interesting website suggestions are most welcome.

Hi, welcome to the forum. We're glad to have you.

You can find just about every leftist work written at this site:
    http://www.marxists.org/

The very basics are: "The Communist Manifesto" "The Principles of Communism" and "Wage Labour and Capital". Read these and expand your knowledge from there.

    I would read these.

The Principles of Communism by Fredrick Engels
Wage Labor and Capital by Karl Marx
State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin
What Is To Be Done by Vladimir Lenin
Party and Class by Amadeo Bordiga

These are just a few to read. I would personally read in that order.

If you would like, you can join this group I made. http://www.revleft.com/vb/group.php?groupid=970

There is other literati groups out there.

Thanks ВАЛТЕР and Brosa Luxemburg. I'll certainly check out the website and get hold of those books. I actually read The Communist Manifesto a few years ago. But i'll re-read it.

Actually, I would say that the Principles of Communism is more important and better than the manifesto.
