I have noticed a few assumptions by people like Rebel that left wingers are snobs. I will readily admit that many left wingers do suffer an inverted snobbery in which they see the proletariat as ultimately virtuous and the bourgoisie in some way inherently evil.

However, i subscribe to a completely different philosophy, one which i wish was more prevalent in the world.
People are the construction of their surroundings, and i find my empathising with even the most die-hard tory. My friends come from all walks of life. I just cannot help but love every other human i come into contact with, for every one of their peculiarities of character and opinion.
Maybe like my politics teacher says i am just too damn caring...
