I really really want to agree, but I don't. Even if they're Fash, attacking the defenseless is dishonorable. We can stomp old Nazis in chess and debate, instead.
I am just looking at it from the perspective of activism in politically receptive areas: if you are going to spread propaganda than be prepared for anything regardless of your age,disposition,or affiliation (is what goes through my mind whenever I participate in any kind of action).

What the fuck, you wouldn't take action against an elderly bigot spreading propaganda supporting violence? Their ideological ancestors (Hitler, Goebbels, Rohm, etc.) didn't discriminate against whom they sent to the gas chambers or to the firing squad by age. As a matter of fact, since the elderly were less productive, they often shot them straightaway. No sympathy for old fascists, if we had sympathy, Nazi war criminals would be basking in the Argentine sun unscathed for their crimes against humanity. Fuck them.

Action doesn't necessarily mean violence. I might threaten hir, but being that old knocking him over could be fatal. That wouldn't just blow over. "Local Anarchist Kills Elderly Man" would shout the right-wing news. I'd certainly disrupt hir campaign or issue counter-propaganda.
Also, do you expect me to stoop to the Nazis' level? Furthermore, there's a big difference between spreading leaflets and operating a concentration camp. The latter do not deserve mercy, no matter their age.
I don't think people should attack the elderly, period. I don't know.......maybe because they are old and fragile.
If a leftist knocks some sense into a young fascist, I wouldn't have a problem. But attacking any really old person is cowardly, because you know they won't really be able to fight back.
The ideology is the same. The street level leaflet distributing pensioner for the EDL or BNP or KKK or ANP would have aided and abetted the concentration camp operators and violent boneheads, so there is no distinction in my mind between the two. Both are as deadly.
