Not a socialist, not even a social-democrat... fucking typical that hollande seems more concerned with competing with sarkozy to woe the front national voters than those of the left front... don't know if that's because he rather panders to the fash vote than the left or he takes left support in the second round for granted.. also not really sure what I think would be worse... absolutely happy to see sarkozy go, but also absolutly no illusions about the replacement.

On the occasion of the elections in France
Here, then, once the election results in France is the subject of urban SMEs in Greece and the EU, mainly overdelivery a component of the rise of the nationalist party of Le Pen. It is not the first time. In elections in 2002, competed in the second round the "right" Chirac with the "extremist" Le Penn (father of the current candidate) after the candidate of "center-left" social democrat Jospin came third. So, all together - Communists, Greens, "social democrats", that the "center left", since all of us had the candidate Jospin - panicky, everyone voted for Chirac elected not to the "extreme right" Le Pen ...
In both cases the risk of flare of fascism to bourgeois themselves and their parties and exethrefan breed, especially the Social Democrats, who strengthened the party of Le Pen. "Old sieve the art," and after 10 years from 1920 to 1930, the Social Democrats raised the Hitler government (see article "Rizospastis" 27/11/2011 21/08/2011 History and inset). Social democracy, experienced in such missions, history repeats itself. Thus, in the elections in France, Mitterrand had found that Le Pen could "pull" votes from the party of Chirac. And supported. While the "Right", noting that Le Pen "pulling" voters from the French Communist Party (people frustrated by the policy), as encouraged by Le Pen. And the 500 signatures needed to earn, to be a candidate for President of France, to those of Le Pen and socialists found! Done Lazouani complaint, presidential candidate in 1990 France, strain GKK, who said that the party of Le Pen created and strengthened in various ways (primarily economic) Francois Mitterrand.

I know I'm not teaching anyone anything new, but this is just the nature of the beast, especially in a multi-party system rather than a two-party system liberal democracy. Even if he was of the utmost sincerity, and was a true international socialist, if he were to run in an election, any politician attempts to draw in voters from the opposite spectrum, let alone moderates.

“It is high time to discard, once and for all, these most harmful illusions about the possibility of “unity” or “peace” with the Dittmanns and the Crispiens, with the Right wing of the German Independent Social-Democratic Party, the British Independent Labour Party, the French Socialist Party, etc. It is high time for all revolutionary workers to purge their parties of these trends, and form genuinely united Communist parties of the proletariat.” Lenin September 24, 1920

Should we pretend that the last 92 years have not happened? Lenin was reacting to events in his time. We are not Lenin and the events are not the same.

The socialist party didn't even exist when Lenin died. lol He's right in saying that the socialist party isn't revolutionary (obviously).

Hollande is a false friend of the workers who will do nothing of value compared to the negative effects of the illusions he gives to workers. Hollande or Sarkozy are useless what matters is developing the workers' own independent power.

Are you trying to tell us that "revolutionary workers should not purge their parties of these trends," and develop "genuinely united Communist parties of the proletariat"? If not, what are you trying to say?

Eh? I think you need to read up a little about the history of this party which arguably goes back to 1879.
