Following a dramatic car chase, an unarmed Asian man, has been shot dead by 8 LAPD Police Officers, in which 90 rounds were fired.
The incident has been captured on camera.

Looks like he wanted to die to be honest, pretending to shoot at police with your hands is a sure way to death by cop.

According to the police, he raised his hands in a way that made it seem that he was pointing a gun at them. Although this wouldn't be the first time the police lied. If he actually did this, then that was probably what did him in and really the cops have their ass covered legally. The cops are often too trigger-happy in situations such as these, and this Arab guy just made their day.
He said he had a gun, walked backwards in a combat stance simulating pointing a gun.

Yeah, I take back my original statement. If he actually did what the police say he did. Then it was most likely a "suicide by cop" type of deal. Still very sad that it came down to this.
You know many people have a black and white worldview, and a very simplistic worldview. And they blame Bush, Obama or who ever is the president for the fascistic capitalist-nazism social order, way of life and political system that USA has since almost 1776. But, a big chunck of the blame for the extreme police oppression that the great beacon of light of USA has had since 1776, should go to millions of US citizens and US voters of the middle classes who are very very individualists, narcissists, and have a sort of good cop vs. bad criminal world view. Which is a very libertarian and paranoid, xenophobic, ultra-nationalist political perspective, in which all the problems of the USA that they themselves are facing are not really caused by the upper ruling oligarchic 2% class of America. But by criminals, immigrants who come to USA "to steal their jobs", by muslims who are "towel heads" like they label them, and by other oppressed poor sectors of America.
So it is not a surprise that people with that police mentality, with that police TV series and police movies political perspective, give their loyal support to Mitt Romney and any pro-cop politician.
To destroy and overthrow the current policing mentality which is linked to the USA nation as being "The police of the world" will require a very very very hard job by the left of USA. Americans are very very pro-police fascism

You know because the USA is a very relativist society in which nothing is right and nothing is wrong. And where there are many intellectuals who have a specialty of deconstructing reality. Many commentators are already saying that Zimmerman is inocent, and they are sort of trying to *rationalize* and *legitimize* the right of Zimmerman to kill Trayvon Martin. Remember that the James Bond 007 "License to kill" mental virus (meme) is a mental virus spread around the whole USA.
We are doomed as nation in this libertarian Mad Max type of John Wayne's Old West worst case dystopian country of USA. Because there are about 300 million guns in the population of America. And in a country with people with lots of weird immoral ideologies like the libertarian "right to bear arms" and "right to kill a person in your private property" mentality. It is a very dangerous country.
And the worst thing about USA is the police departments of most US cities use all their technology, and resources just for speed limit tickets in the roads, and for stupid irrelevant misdeamor crimes like loud music, or any other misdeameanor. But when it comes to big crimes, specially murders, rapes against weak women, state-crimes like JFK, 9-11 and banking-crimes they suck.
