Default British Tory MP Wants Prisoners Collecting Rubbish In Chain-gangs

    Check this odious tosser out:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/journalis...s-Tory-MP.html

British Tory MP, Robert Percy, has called for inmates of British prisons, to work in chain-gangs, clearing up rubbish from motorway roadworks, including bottles of urine discarded by lorry drivers.

I have got mates who have been banged-up. When they tell you what has happened to them throughout their lives, it's hardly surprising. Most prisoners are working-class people who have been marginalized, alienated and excluded from 'society', and done what was necessary to survive. They have been shafted by capital, to put it bluntly.

And this Tory fart wants to rub salt into the wounds. He can go fuck himself.

That sounds Victorian, doesn't it. I'm sure Cameron's got it in him to bring back the workhouses.

Don't worry, like most of the Tories stupid and sad little ideas, they will never truly be realized. Even if they where to pass the bill, it would only get reformed after people see the pathetic reality of what they are trying to do.

With all the cutbacks, and the crisis in capitalism deepening, it wouldn't surprise me. In any case, I regard prisons as a form of workhouse anyway. Mainly poor people banged-up, in many cases for economic 'crimes' like shoplifting, or cos they have done drugs to ease the pain in their lives. And they have to work in jail, cleaning communal areas, on the 'servery' (where the food is dispensed) etc.

Possibly. But chain-gangs are commonplace in America, and many other criminal 'justice' regimes around the world. Capital will do what they can get away with. Maybe this MP's views are a little 'tester' to gauge public opinion, and see where they can go with it...

Comrades, we must continue to work towards the day when the entire Tory Party are working in chain gangs, collecting our garbage from the roadside.

    Nice one, comrade.

But the question is, have they actually got a day's work in them? What a massive culture shock they would have, with nanny no longer around to feed them from a silver spoon

No, I think we'd be carting their broken-down bodies off to the people's hospital and re-education centre in double quick time.
