Nazi rally in Gothenburg on the Sixth April and Counterdemo
The nazi scum in the party The Nationaldemocrats had a rally in Gothenburg today, in the suburb Kortedala. For almost three weeks ago, a 61-year old man was attacked by a gang of teenagers with immigrant-backgrounds on Kortedala Square. He is now in a coma and four teenagers is in custody facing charges.
The scum in the National Democrats weren't late to try to steal political points off this tragedy and had a rally today, with around 25 of them participating, most(if not all) travelled here from other cities of Sweden, as they have no local group in Gothenburg.
In the counterdemo, there was around 600-700 people, most just ordinary citizens there to show that they would not let the nazi scum steal political points of this tragedy. The police put up riot fences and the nazis had their rally in the middle of a square, with all four ways in blocked and full of protesters making as much noise as possible to drown out their racist propaganda.
There was some firecrackers thrown, and some stones and eggs on the nazi scum's busses when they were leaving, but not much more than that. I believe that four persons were taken into custody by the police, but I've heard that two of them were nazis who had infiltrated the counterdemonstration.
After the demonstration, a man from the Justice Party - The socialists were nearly ran over by a car which in a high speed drove right at him. He narrowly managed to prevent getting hit in the last second, but then the car turned around and tried once more to run over him. Several persons chased the car and it drove off. I talked to the cops and they told me that the driver had also tried to run over some police officers before, and that they had the car's licence number and were looking for it from a police helicopter, so it seems like they'll get the scumbag.
It's unknown if the driver was a nazi, but as it looks like he tried to run over a counterprotester on purpose, it's very likely.
Anyhow, a very good day, the nazi scum won't be back for long in this beautiful town. No Pasarán!

And the Justice Party, as usual, takes all the glory for it. It's pretty obvious they alone didn't arrange the demo, nor where the only one calling people to come there. But what the hell, they're propably bitter since they where thrown out of the local anti-racist coalition - for being asshats. Oh dear god how i hate them sometimes... (in Sweden, pretty much everybody has a story about the party being a strange and somewhat sectarian bunch). Kortedala by the way seems to be the most left-infested suburb in Gothenburg, and maybe Sweden.
And truth to be told, those kids propably should be locked away for life. The beating they gave that old man was just plain evil.

We invited said network to participate. We sent out press releases, they did not. We arranged a demo we invited others to join and as you may well know we have quite a significant base in Kortedala, we handed out thousands of leaflets, put up posters, held information meetings in youth centers, we had stalls on the square prior to the demo etc. So you know...
