Is slam dance same as mosh?

I've slam danced to Discharge. There were only 100 people in crowd and half of us were from Croatia... Me and friend jumped on stage, punched singer (Rat) in the face, took a mic from him and sing 2 songs (Fight Back was one)... then he throwed us in the audience... we rolled on the glass... and whole mosh pit was like battlefield... we were trying to beat up each other for real... when show ended we were all covered with blood and Rat was like... wtf is wrong with these punx... these aren't 80's anymore...

Not very mosh but of the most fun pits I have been in limpwrist (homoerotica gives a quite a edge to sweaty pits) and humanalert (spitshowers!!) rank at the top, seeinred goodby show last week was very nice too but not the top. Best true mosh I have been in would probably be hatebread, lambofgod, AF & discipline.

Is slam dance same as mosh?
    I'd say yes.

Lightning Bolt. Last May NYU did some end of the semester street party that was free for everyone (non-students too ). We were all climbing up the scaffolding to the point where the show got stopped three times by security who threatened to shut it down. Best part was it lacked much of the overt masculinity you get at a lot of punk and hardcore shows.

It was even crazier towards the middle of the crowd

    You seem neat, but...

They divide us men and women, they divide us old and young,

flogging molly was a lot of fun, casualties on the same day, limp wrist was p good cuz the singer heckled us most of the time, gwar, mindless self indulgence was wild though a bit more violent then i like, ummm local favs panther always put on a damn good show with some good pit action. i saw this judas priest cover band some months ago, that was pretty tight more headbanging than moshing though

Until now, the left has only managed capital in various ways; the point, however, is to destroy it.

Haven't seen The Chariot live yet, but their live shows seem terrifying, and I would be all up in that shit.

My all-time favourites are Rammstein because I'm mainstream like that but I managed to see them on the Gold Coast and you know what, I don't think many people can say they've been saturated by a mad German wielding a penis-cannon.

Going to see The Chariot next Tuesday alongside Norma Jean. Will comfortably be the oldest person in the venue no doubt. It's gonna be rad. Chariot are sick

The Who was my favorite band back when I was young, but that was an era before moshing came into vogue.

I'm not really a mosher or anything, but last saturday I did however blast 'Hammer The Nails' by Casey Jones while making dinner, and just goofed off and started doing some of that hardcore dancing stuff...broke the glass ceiling light in my kitchen and cut my hand in 3 places...lotta blood...I thought it was funny but my girlfriend didn't.
