    Default The Wealth Gap - Well, duh!

    Mainstream media attention is, for the moment, glancing with interest at the vast inequality in pay and conditions between the 1% and the 99%. I know we all know this inequality exists and have some ideas about how to stop it, but the article still has, I think, some fascinating and disturbing facts and figures.
    (The picture globally is far worse and this article only focuses on the US and UK, but still found it interesting)

    The problem is when these Republican politicians make statistics up at these debates the moderators dont call them out on it and provide this evidence.

    Of course the mainstream media spends no time actually pondering the social and economic repercussions of this inequality. Instead, it only matters in its relation to how bourgeois politics will play out.
