"Face the world like a roaring blaze, before all the tears begin to turn silent. Burn down everything that stands in our way. Bang the drum."
Cool, punx here had a solidarity punkpicknick in front of the embassy but it seems they got out punked by these Turks.
The mind is its own place, and in itself Can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven. What matter where, if I be still the same, And what I should be, all but less than he Whom thunder hath made greater?
Here at least We shall be free
I looked into this a little bit, the title of the thread is a little misleading. It wasn't an embassy but a consulate, and it wasn't a raid, it was a demonstration in front of the building.
According to what the people who did this demonstration say on istanbul indymedia, there was about thirty of them, they did some graffiti and stencils and knocked down a couple of garbage cans on the way back and the demonstration ended without problems. They also organized a concert, apparently.
Their graffiti and banners read as: "All states are fascists, all police are assassins for hire", "Destroy all religions", "Punks are here, remain free", "Religion is fascism", "All police are bastards".
"Communism, as fully developed naturalism, equals humanism, and as fully developed humanism equals naturalism; it is the genuine resolution of the conflict between man and nature and between man and man – the true resolution of the strife between existence and essence, between objectification and self-confirmation, between freedom and necessity, between the individual and the species. Communism is the riddle of history solved, and it knows itself to be this solution." - Karl Marx
