Interesting, and I guarantee you in the even of a Paul victory the military elite will get what they paid for:

We're all disillusioned with capitalism.
The US Government is also on Ron Paul's list.
Something tells me Ron Paul is going to win...
Where does the chart come from?
We claim to live and die equal, the way we were born: we want this real equality or death; that’s what we need.
And we’ll have this real equality, at whatever price. Unhappy will be those who stand between it and us! Unhappy will be those who resist a wish so firmly expressed.
The French Revolution was nothing but a precursor of another revolution, one that will be bigger, more solemn, and which will be the last.

God, i don't understand peoples love affairs with ron paul. But besides that, who cares? We all know politicians are corrupt, and their money is dirty.
Doesn't he also get contributions from Stormfront and the American Nazi Party
Ron Paul is scum, so of course he receives contributions from scumfront and the American Nazi scummery.Originally Posted by Broletariat
Yep and he likes it. I remember when he got called on it he basically said he didn't care who was giving him money. Truly a man of principle.
I get different numbers if I do a Google search for "campaign contributions ron paul":

Can some body explain to me why Ron Paul is getting financed by the U.S Government and Obama isn't even though he's the head of the U.S Government?
This thread is hilarious. It doesn't matter how much money Ron Paul gets right now. In the long run, electoral politics is rigged, so Ron Paul will either have to modulate his rhetoric about hard currency or face certain defeat. It should also be noted that the military or the US government doesn't give Ron Paul money as an organization, just as Goldman Sachs, as a company, doesn't give Obama money. Those figures show you the institutional affiliation of the individuals who donate. With a lot of the massive corporations, like Goldman Sachs, those individual contributions are indeed maximum contributions (a couple of thousand still, I believe) which are then "bundled" into massive donations that are handed over at one time by a person high up in the company with the understanding that the donation has some kind of official stamp. But in the case of Paul, who is calling for withdrawal from Afghanistan, etc., and a more humble foreign policy, I think it's clear that military-industrial complex is not bundling $2,000 contributions for him. He is probably getting a lot of small contributions from individual civil service workers and soldiers who support what he has to say, as misguided as they are.
I imagine its one of 2 things, either government employees donating or something, or government compensation for campaign expenses. Regardless i hate that neo-liberal scum, he takes this "alternative" anti war BS stance and forgets to mention things like voting against civil rights bill against segregation because it was government intervention on private property ...

"The Bolsheviks have shown that they are capable of everything that a genuine revolutionary party can contribute within the limits of historical possibilities. They are not supposed to perform miracles. For a model and faultless proletarian revolution in an isolated land, exhausted by world war, strangled by imperialism, betrayed by the international proletariat, would be a miracle."
