Oath Keepers, Wayseers, Theonomy, the American political landscape is starting to sound like The Handmaid's Tale.
We're all disillusioned with capitalism.
Fuck the Oathkeepers a bunch of Proto-Fascist shitheads who don't give a damn about the Constitution and only care about crushing anything remotely Left Wing.
An incipient fascist development.
RED DAVE
When they show up with guns and in matching uniforms then you can be worried. This is a group that probably could mobilize a paramilitary force if it wanted to. Obviously not in Manhattan but you get the point.

Looks like the forces of reaction are quick to mobilize...we'll just have to be quicker then.
But seriously, how effective do you think this will be? I can't see that many "Oath Keepers" coming out to steer America's youth away from "the soft form of communism" (). But then perhaps I underestimate them. The right has almost always had the ability to rally people whenever it so desires. If they do show up to these demonstrations, I can't help but wonder if they'll make much of an impact. After all, the occupations were built around a solidly anti-Wall Street platform. Then again, this movement also happens to be incredibly diverse in terms of politics and goals. Depending on the area/region they might be successful, but I don't see them swaying the vast majority of those already out there.
"Socialist ideas become significant only to the extent that they become rooted in the working class."
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. . .Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."

Just so everyone knows, all Oath Keepers are all, to the man, former and current law enforcement and professional military personnel. Their participation is a tacit act of right-wing political intimidation.
Is anyone else reminded of the Blackshirts?
hehe
"Win, lose or draw...long as you squabble and you get down, that's gangsta."
This is pure Blackshirts shit.
They see anti-capitalists at these rallies and know that the youth will be exposed to these radical alternatives, so they quickly move into action to counter those elements.
The vast majority of the crowd is liberal or soc dem at best, yet they're mobilizing like a buch of jackbooted union busting thugs to attack the whole movement because of a minority.
That goes to show that forces are trying to quell this movement before it reaches a radical turn.
I don't know if he was related to this effort but I met one kid who read "infowars" at one of the occupy protests, holy shit he had some nutty views. For instance he thought that there was a secret bunch of hidden zionist bloodlines that were conspiring to control Capitalism with the Vatican.

The nuttiness is due to a lack of admitting the real problem; capitalism.
Notice how far Jones type people venture off into dissent except for this one point.

At best a scam, at worst some kind of cult.
