I'm applying for grad programs right now and while I fully expect to find an rl group of people with whom to discuss theory, exchange bibliographies and shoot the high-brow shit, it occurs to me that there may well be internet forums that offer similar opportunities. Do you know of any academic forums in the humanities/humanistic social sciences?

And when Marx says, 'Hitherto the philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways', what that 'hitherto' means is not a renunciation of theory and that all we need to do is wade in with our fists and there will be no more need for thought. This idea is in fact fascist, and it would be grossly unjust to Marx to impute such views on him.

Thanks very much you cool, beautiful serenity.
I am week 2 of a grad program. Its quite a challenge to get into the swing of things when you work full time too.
By having no family … I inherited the family of humanity.
By having no possessions … I have possessed all.
By rejecting the love of one … I received the love of all.
By surrendering my life to the revolution … I found eternal life.
