Du Riechst So Gut rocks my world. Plus if I remember correctly, they write a lot about the failure of West Germany compared to East Germany, and then there's Amerika which critiques the influence of the U.S on global culture. Such a great band.

PS Rammstein are awful. Kraftwerk are one of the best groups ever let along best German groups.

Obscura is my favorite band hailing from Germany.
There's also Louise Cyphre, Kill Kim Novak, June Paik, Tristan Tzara, A Fine Boat That Coffin!, Arsen AKA Konig Der Monster, Only for the Sake of Aching, Petethepiratesquid, Zann, Yage, The Apolexy Twist Orchestra, and a shit ton of other bands I haven't listened to in forever.
Just go to listen to Obscura though.

Rammstein are fantastic. I love how when I visited Stormfront (Obviously to see what it was exactly; not to join) there was a thread about them talking about how great Rammstein was.
Obviously they haven't listened to Links 2 3 4.

I don't mean to be rude, but Ramstein is awful.. Germany has so much more to offer!
I was into Rammstein when I was 13 just getting into metal. Oh the days of Nu-Metal and Rammstein. Anyway Im a sucker for intelligent lyrics and sadly their lyrics are aweful. There are much better industrial metal bands out there. Here are a few from Germany that are pretty good.
