Isn't it the belief that business should be state owned?
No it shold be own by the people, however this say'd not al poeple are as smart and you need to protect some people from them selfs so a form of hierarchy is needed and induviduals have to realize that thay them selfs are secondary(not shure if its the rigth word) to the well being of the colective.

Because one doesn't want to starve to death. That would suck.

    tipical trotskyist excuse.

Incoming news, scientists have discovered that the instinct of self preservation is in fact a TROTSKYITE occurrence, as opposed to STALINIST solidarity in dying!

Bruce Cummings is a Bourgeoisie historian who writes books about "North" Korea which are not too biased against the DPRK.

I know the feeling, I came here looking for solidarity with Korean workers and all I get is slammed and insults against the DPRK (as you can see in this forum).
I'd hazard a guess that 99% of users on this forum have solidarity with Korean workers. What you're looking for is solidarity with the State of North Korea, even if this is to the detriment of Korean workers, which is something wholly different...

EDIT: here's a novel idea...how about you stop trying to turn every thread you post in into a discussion of DPRK? There are plenty of other topics you can discuss.

Fair enough if you feel discussion of communism with the DPRK as an example is out of place then so be it. I was just offering it up as a country from which one can learn about socialism.

I think this thread stands to a testament of the utter inability of the majority of posters here to offer a concise, effective explanation of their views. I mean, "yer a fucking eejit" by post four? Not impressed, guys, not impressed at all.

    Communism is not Utopia.

Communists, such as myself, do not advocate spending time working on blueprints for the future, either.

Communism is the movement that will abolish the present state of things: Capitalism.

    So basically::

Capitalism fucking sucks, we need solution

    Communist movement is solution

I don't know if Communism is better, but something must be better than this shit.

So you want a World Government with Direct Democracy.

Wouldn't Direct Democracy be impossible to accomplish in a World Government?
    Probably.

    Don't listen to these Utopians.

We advocate the abolishment of class society and the capitalist mode of production.

We are working to abolish... And not bring about a state of affairs.

Well said. To the OP, I'd recommend looking to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ("North Korea") for an example of the superiority of communism. Universal no cost healthcare, food distribution, worker's power and a people's army.

    http://www.korea-is-one.org/

Or read up on things authored by Bruce Cummings.
How about fuck no and holy shit.

OP, please don't think we are all like this.

Why do you need to protect some people form themselves???? who do you need some form of hiarchy? WHo said "you are secondary" to the collective?

You do realize that economic activity is neccessarily social right? No one trades with themself.

You are amazing in your paranoid imagination.
