Only one problem - these studies were done on mice. That would be OK for 99% of drugs - but it has been decades since it was established that mice are HYPERSENSITIVE to the effects of cannabis. There is no known animal relative of man on which THC is as obviously harmful in as minute amounts as it is in mice - they managed to actually kill mice with THC overdoses.
Given a hundred times the equivalent dose - primates just had a nap and woke up fine.

Now, I don't know if anyone here is into LD50 and LDLO figures - but basiaclly LD50 means "this dose will kill 50% of the subjects". LDLO however is a copout - plain and simple - it just means "minimum dose that result in direct OR indirect death".
So basically - they could not establish an LD50. They could not find a dose strong enough to kill half the monkeys in their sample - and they worked with pure THC in needles for fuck's sakes!

Yeah- i've been hearing this since i was a kid. We were taught in sex ed. (which does shit, but not the point) that smoking weed would lower the sperm count and the possibility of having children.
When i heard that i pretty much came to the conclusion that i wouldnt be having kids with any of my boyfriends cuz all of them are potheads (like me).
Its just another way of keeping people from smoking weed. Anti-mary jane crap.

Yeah, I would be interested in the results. They have done it on a few different species - even monkeys. The funny part is that the monkeys are by far the most related by humans and also by FAR the most resistant to any negative effects - haha.

This is a standard "Chemical Fact Sheet" containing all pertinent information on particular compound. The funny part is this also covers flamability and how explosive a chemical is. For a chemical fire resulting from 100% pure burning THC (lol) you should follow these instructions layed down by years of research into such situations:

When I saw it was moved, I thought it might have been moved to the Trash "forum".
But, Dhul, these were humans, not mice, that were tested...though they didn't say how they obtained the sperm samples.
I can't speak for others, of course, but this seems to me to be a "side-effect" that is quite "bearable". Those who indulge get to feel good and reduce the possibility of an unwanted pregnancy.
Thus I posted it because I thought the slightly alarmist tone was an interesting contrast to the actual reported result.
Why would they think that it's a "bad thing"?
