    Default Machiavelli's "The Prince"

Is Machiavelli relevant to Marxist-proletarian politics? Can we use his theories and principles to help the Marxist state remain in power???

I think there is some relevance in his theories, after all the prince is a great leap forward in political science. Machiavelli was somewhat of a political realist. I would strongly advise against using Machiavelli to "help the Marxist state stay in power". The goal of any DOTP should be to abolish itself, not repressing the individual members. Gramsci wrote some interesting stuff on Machiavelli btw.
