I think you're starting to have an influence on my thinking! Someone forwarded this to me and I thought I'd share it with you guys. I can see asking the press to not give out military secrets or something like that that could endanger the lives of our soldiers, but to say that should watch their opinions?.....
Here the url. I don't know how to make it a link on this board.

Hey rebel, the source you are quoting is the ONION. Don't get me wrong, I love the ONION and read it every week, but it is a satirical publication. It is a big printed joke man, its not meant to be taken seriously, look at the other stories on their site.

I've never heard of the onion before. So are the quotes are made up? Well, I guess they made their point then! I read it and thought "God, these people at che-lives are right!"

Rebel.... to make a clickable hyperlink just put in front of the address and then
behind it. It's as easy as that... and you can add it in after if you forget like I always do..

most of us don't read onion, but get our information from serious news sources. whatever opinions we form on that basis is the reason we're here and what we all have on common. i am always skeptical about what i read and especially what i hear on tv. some of our ideas may not sound credible outside of leftist forums but that does not make them any less true than some of the bullshit i see on tv and pouring out of politicians mouths. sometimes you just have to ask unusual questions to get straight answers.

I agree with Gooddoctor, although I don't read the Onion myself, I use editorials to get other outside opinons.... however they aren't credible as actual news sources... For example... I post alot of stuff from Worker's World but that isn't a credible news source... it's only the news in a communist perspective.
