Default "Pro-Life" activist calls for abortions to be made public...'cuz it's icky!

This "pro-life activist" is, I've gotta say, crossing some (ignorant?) boundaries here when she calls for abortions to be done in public in order to make a point on why we should ban abortions. In other words, abortions should be banned because she finds them to be icky. Sorry, hun, but the world doesn't revolve around you thankfully. It revolves around an overwhelming majority who are pro-choice!

You could make the same argument on open-heart surgeries. Surely people will eventually be disgusted with it if done in public. Does that mean we should ban open-heart surgeries now? lol This "activist" is clearly not going to convince many people.

I think that all surgery should be done in public parks, and projected on a large screen.

That's like saying all gynecologists should perform their work in public.

I've said it before, but I think it's important to underline the fact that this is the product of religion. The anti-abortion rhetoric ultimately rests on beliefs in spirits and magic. There is no rational, scientific argument for a blanket ban on abortion.

Of course religion is the main problem. Otherwise, this ignorant lady wouldn't have said, "Maybe then we’ll hear angels sing when we ponder the glory of conception.”

    Umm.....can I get a big "WTF?"

She might want to consult a neurologist.

Hey, this isn't a bad idea.

Let's put the poverty the US causes with it's capitalism in latino america on the big screen.

Hell the poverty we have on the streets of harlem can be put up too.

I tried posting pictures of dead children from the Afghan/Iraq war on a conservative site and they banned me. It was in a thread concerning the valiant efforts of troops to win 'hearts and minds'. They were posting pictures of them passing out candy and water while acting all self righteous. "See, we're helping these people".

Conservatives should address the economic issues mainly behind abortion. The same idiots will turn right around and say "I aint paying no taxes for some lazy single mother to free load off of".
