Hi allz.
I am wondering; about a thing. Is there a marxian documentary about the russian revolution that goes into debunking the popular bourgeois analysis of october, Lenin, the bolsheviks etc., at least into some length?
I haven't spotted a single one. It seems as every documentary/video material about october 1917 (and the forthcoming civil war and early years of the workers' state) presents the same, simpleminded bourgeois point of view.
The marxist view of 1917 only seems to be covered through articles and various other forms of litterature.
It's a sham, as it oughtta be possible, just like it happened to be with the making of "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised (Chavez Inside The Coup)" featuring the realities of the CIA coup attempt in Venezuela 2002.
And it's not like there ain't plenty of angles and data material to be portrayed, and the topic's crucially important, as much of the debate about marxism roots back to october 1917 and the years just after.
So it really tricks me, if there hasn't ever been made one.
