    Revex,

It may not be apparent from recent posts, but many of us have expressed our profound horror and sincerest sorrow over these attacks - without qualification. Please see an old thread of mine 'Respect for Life - the fundamental principle'.

I send you my most heartfelt sympathy - and please understand that I don't presume for a moment to know the extent of the anguish you now feel. Just know that I for one, am sorry, so sorry.

It cannot but be supportive, socialist, communist or whatever you want to call it. Does nature, and the human species with it, have much time left to survive in the absence of such change? Very little time. Who will be the builders of that new world? The

i'd be screaming blue murder if australia or the uk was atttacked. But personally i'm no more stressed about the 6000 americans than people are about the africans dying as we speak, or the shit going on in eastern europe or asia, or any of the places these terrible things happen. What pisses me of is that people are so quick to cry for the americans. what really pisses me off is the total pointlesness of the attacks and all the problems that it begins to cause. You might think that in real terms it doesn't effect you, but its amzing to see the riple effect spread

My heart and thoughts are with the families of those who parished in the attacks that occurd 9/11/01.

I cried for several days, this was the most horrific feeling I have ever experienced. I think in large part it had to do with these atrocities taking place in my country. For once, it happened to the inhabitants of the U.S.

All these years, I've watched innocent lives being taken from a distance ... too distant to dwell on. It sounds horrible, yes I know. I'm trying to be sincere here.

I hate hearing from others, especially political dissenters of the U.S. how "we had this coming" or "now we know what it feels like," these comments may be true but their timing is off. Those who died, are not behind the terrorist attacks commited by our U.S. government on other countries, they are individuals like you and I who believe in what they do and who have every right to live their life as they wished, most had families to care for and these jobs took care of that.

I've gone over this in my head, time and time again ... it's horrific. 6000+ lives and the U.S. has taken millions of lives, much more than 6000. I'm sorry to break it to you but a life, is just that ... a life, not a small number, it's ONE individual innocently dying for what they had no control over.

I like to take the time and ask all of you, Americans especially not to think of this as a deed we so desperately deserved, but as humans, who died. They had families just like you and I do, they were mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, boyfriends, girlfriends, friends, etc., enough with us deserving this because we did not deserve this. We as humans do not deserve this.

I'm not trying to sound like a contradiction. All I'm asking is to think of those who lost their lives and truly acknowledge they did not deserve this, no one ever does.

I realize we now live in a game, it's either them or us. I choose us, I have so much more than they could ever offer me. To think that if the U.S. backed of, and suddenly become more tolerant and kind to others, that the rest will follow. Evil has a potential within us all and now that evil has been welcomed.
