Are you talking about the 75 or so "political dissidents" that were imprisoned?

They went to trial and were found guilty because they were receiving funding from the U$, through the U.S. Cuban Special Interests "ambassador". They were paid subversives and were imprisoned for it.

First of all it is wrong to call it "Castro's crackdown". Cuba is a state with laws and a judicial process. Fidel doesn't simple decide to imprison people and doesn't manage every aspect of the country - that is a distortion by anti-Cuban media.

These "dissidents" were people who recieved millions of dollars to subvert Cuba on behalf of a foreign power - that is illegal in the United States and it is illegal in Cuba.

"Political dissidents"? Hahha, Che would have had them all shot. Rightly so.

This is not some one off event, he was only let back in because he promised he had reformed. He lied then, and you lot gave him the benefit of the doubt, now your going to give it to him again.”

While I may have my criticisms of Castro, any president who passes the Patriot Acts has no right to criticize Castro's crackdown of paid subversives.

Comrade Guevara would have shot them all himself (as would I). His ruthlessness is legendary to my comrades in Mexico.

Apparently you missed the sarcasm in the post. I put the term political dissidents in quotes for that purpose. I was not seriously implying that these scumbags were anything but paid subversive traitors.
