Since, according to their fantasy, the relationships of men, all their doings, their chains and their limitations are products of their consciousness, the Young Hegelians logically put to men the moral postulate of exchanging their present consciousness for human, critical or egoistic consciousness, and thus of removing their limitations. This demand to change consciousness amounts to a demand to interpret reality in another way, i.e. to recognise it by means of another interpretation. The Young-Hegelian ideologists, in spite of their allegedly "world-shattering" statements, are the staunchest conservatives.

I have Stalin's lesser known cook-book, which includes some sparse biographical information.
It does include an excellent recipe for broiled children, however.
-insert witty phrase in between two equals sign here-
haha. Maybe you all should talk with Comrade RAF and be "converted" into doubting a little of that shit...

No, he's a moron of the highest order.

no way do i like stalin just didnt want to read some TOTALLY BIASED bio.the jokes were funny tho.but sadly true.

Don't think that biographers are all agents of the US government. I think you'll find that most are fair and objective. They do, after all, tell the story of a life, not judge the man.
this land is our land
true there is one insanely bias and basicly ficticious bio that i have read concerning communism, its actually on lenin.i believe its called "lenin-a new biograpgy".the best one is by robert service.its called"lenin-a biography".

Not really. You suggested someone I could "learn" from, and I suggested an opinion on that member which is mines entirely and will not be changed. I hardly think this is evidence of the "only thing I can post". Whether I have anything of any insight to say is up to other people to decide obviously.

There are some biographiers who do tend to stray away from the truth and put in their own opinion, But I WOULD like to read a Stalin book as im sure it will give you a insight into what he was thinking, could be interesting.
"I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man." -Che Guevara, Oct. 9, 1967.
Dude, just because RAF is a Stalinist does not mean he is an idiot. I don't give a shit if he followed Hitler, he's one of the most educated people on this board. Just because he has a different opinion of Stalin (right or wrong) does not mean he doesn't know his shit.
Perhaps you should engage him in a debate instead of spewing out hollow insults, which is all I've seen you do.
By the way, Boy Sets Fire sucks. Those fucks preached for 5 minutes between EVERY song last time I saw them. I enjoy it, but they are just alienating and pissing off the people who don't care. They came to see a band, not get a lecture. Plus, their music is psuedo punk BULLSHIT.
speaking as a fellow, former musician, we only talk heavy in between sets when we need filler because we don't know that much!

Ya, I was kind of just joking, but that really did piss the crowd off. I liked it, mostly because I don't like their music.
Pseudo-punk? Haha.
Comrade RAF may very well be the "Einstein of Stalinism" but that doesn't mean he's not full of shit. And anyway, I have had lots of arguments with him and he all he seems to do is wise crack and say "kid" alot. So I respond in kind, if you don't like it, please accept my full apologies but that's just tough.

Maoist Internationalist Movement has two good pro-Stalin books. They're downloadable. Go to "FAQ" on their homepage, and then to "What about Stalin?". They have a link at the bottom.

Some quotes on the range of my character:
". He's only around still because he's a member of the "old guard" who seems to have friends in high places."
-CubanFox
“I couldn't care less if he's the highest quality posted on the board. The guy goes out of his way to be unpleasant to anyone who "dares" to disagree. This is not some one off event, he was only let back in because he promised he had reformed. He lied then, and you lot gave him the benefit of the doubt, now your going to give it to him again.”
-Enigma
“Amusing as Elijah's bons mots may be, when you find yourself reading someone's apparently serious posts twice, searching for some sort of sardonic quip hidden in there, you know that person needs to be banned.”
-CubanFox
“And therefore, much as I hate to say it, I think Elijah must be banned for the good of the board.”
-RedStar
“Poor Elijah, we really do make life hard for him!”
-Canikickit

If calling me a moron makes you feel better about blindly believing lies, then go right ahead mate. I can care less. I don't need your "seal of approval" as many of my comrades here know that calling me a moron is absurd.
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein
