many of the us citizens are of coarse pissed. but they act so stupid. one guy said "nuke all terrorist countries". is that what should happen? i think no. it would only repeat the tragedy. nuclear warfare is horrible. one day you would be walking your dog, next thing your ashes. sorry i would add more, but my class is over.

i agree that that is a ridiculous response. i live in canada and we are often seen as a harbour for terrorist activity (in fact new reports suggest the terrorists who hijacked the planes came to north america through canada) because of our "lax" immigration/travel restrictions. does that mean the us should bomb canada (and no jokes about the blame canada thing from south park). retaliating with violence without thought is not appropriate

point taken. i live in vermont, so you can just imagine what many of my fellow vermonters are thinking about this. i live in the middle of no where, and the sentiments around here are pretty much "nuke the towel heads" which is completely irrational, racist, and downright ignorant. should we hate everyone for the actions of just a few people? no, probably not, but it happens more than i'd like to believe.

People are always looking for someone to blame. The US will never admit that the attack is a result of their own fucked up policies, so they blame Islam or something. They'd rather go on a rampage against some poor Arab country than change their foreign policy.
