    Default Communism Paper Outline?

    Hello fellow Revlefters!
Upon my quest in seeking out information for my senior research paper, I have stumbled onto this site, which has already helped me write almost half of my paper about Communism. However, it seems that my brain is running dry of ideas, and well, maybe you guys could give me topics about Communism that I could include in my essay. The essay isn't very specific, so I think that just about anything that has to do with Communism will fit in :P.
    Thanks

    Nice username you got.

Who are you, Hugin or Munin?

Shouldn't essays in general be quite specific, and just not a random sample of ideas?

Well, I guess that they should be specific, but my teacher doesn't seem to mind the essay ranging from one topic to another about communism

It might help if you tell us more specifically what information you need.

What topics do you have so far?

Well, I started my essay with a discussion of previous economic and political ideologies (such as how things ran in Rome and later in Feudal Europe) and what was wrong with them. Then I talked about the creation of Capitalism and finally how Socialism would be the next step of society. So as of now I have Socialist economic theory and I'm currently writing about Socialist politics and how they will lead to Communism.

    1. Write about the Marxist critique of capitalism.

You could write about what a communist society might look like. And also, as Sir Comradical said, you should probably write about the Marxist critique of capitalism.

As others have said, Marx's critique of capitalism, specifically the Tendency of the rate of profit to fall.

Did you make an account here just to get help for an essay? I agree that you should look into the Marxist critique of capitalism. If you take a look at the resources threads we have stickied here, you can find many references and links to material.

Maybe include a bit about the history of communism, and its current situation.

That could be effective as long as it was kept as a very general, broad overview. It would have to avoid any sort of specifics - otherwise it would be something you can write an entire book on
