fili i think that the us will have to host a g8 or other globalization summit. gw has to show his power. now that canada (btw i am canadian) is going to host the next one (and yes i think chretian is copping out by having the summit in the middle of butt fuck alberta) the states are going to have to show they can control a 'riotous crowd', and they will try to do it better than what has happened at previous summits. the american reaction to seattle, of course, doesn't count because it was one of the first.
i encourage everyone to go to alberta next year for the summit. there are numerous small towns/cities near the next site (ie. calgary and canmore) and it is extremely easy to hitchhike in Alberta (i know from experience). Show chretian and all the other assholes that having summits in remote places is not going to work. You can't stiffle freedom of expression, and you can not quite our voices to be free from global oppression.
