Default [STUDY GROUP] Capitalism, Postmodernity and Neoliberalism

If people want to study the era we live in and which economic (or technological) structures have shaped its dominant thinking.

I'd propose to read some of Bourdieu's work on neoliberalism, some philosophical ideas on postmodernity (taken broadly) some articles from journals or magazines. But a discussion can be just as good an exercise to order your thoughts.

I hope some of you are interested.

Thanks. I hope it will get off the ground. I will try to write some short essay/article when I have more time, to kick it off.

Bourdieu can be very thick and difficlt reading for the uninitiated, so perhaps this might be a good starting point for those interested. Anything you wish to provide is certainly welcome though of course.
